Le Gouvernement conservateur du Canada a décidé de reconnaître l’ex- République yougoslave de Macédoine (ERYM) sous l’appellation « République de Macédoine ». Cette décision a provoqué une immense déception et les protestations de centaines de milliers de Canadiens d’origine grecque.
