Commander of the Turkish Navy Admiral Metin Atac arrived in Athens on Tuesday upon an invitation from his Greek counterpart Chief of the Naval General Staff George Karamalikis.
The visit takes place within the scope of confidence building measures between Turkey and Greece.

Commander of the Turkish Navy Admiral Metin Atac arrived in Athens on Tuesday upon an invitation from his Greek counterpart Chief of the Naval General Staff George Karamalikis.
The visit takes place within the scope of confidence building measures between Turkey and Greece.
Admiral Atac will visit Turkish war cemetery in Piraeus and attend dinner that would be hosted by Turkish Ambassador in Athens Oguz Celikkol on Tuesday.
Admiral Atac will hold 2-day talks in Greek Naval Forces Command on Wednesday and is expected to return to Turkey on October 3 after paying a short visit to Nafplion city of Greece.
