According to NationMaster, a the number of Greeks in present day FYROM has been reduced to 422 (2002 Census) although in 1994 that number was 250,000 (John Hopkins University).
Unless there was Mass Exodus or the they all emmigrated to neighboring countries to seek employment

Η Ελλάδα δεν θα σήμαινε τόσα πολλά για μας αν δεν υπήρχαν οι άνθρωποι που γνωρίσαμε εδώ. Η γιαγιά που μας φίλεψε ροδάκινα απ’ το καλάθι της όταν χάλασε το αυτοκίνητο της παρέας μας, στη Θεσσαλία το 1975. Το ζευγάρι που μας παραχώρησε το διαμέρισμά του, παρόλο που μόλις μας είχε συναντήσει, στο Ρέθυμνο το 1984.
